Talk Walk Reflect – Two Rivers Book Festival, September 10th – October 1st 2020

By | 5th August 2020

I’m delighted to be talking with Norfolk based writers John Arnett and Melinda Appleby as part of Talk, Walk Reflect at the Two Rivers Book Festival this Autumn.

Join us on zoom on September 10th, to take part in a landscape-inspired remote walking project taking place over three weeks. We will be sharing three approaches to three weeks of self led walking in the Waveney Valley landscapes before rejoining on October 1st to share our experiences.

I’ll be talking on walking and researching the landscape to find inspiration for my writing, including new public poem, ‘Dreaming of Albion’, commissioned by Norfolk County Council. This commission will be installed in Great Yarmouth as part of the new Wherry Garden near the train station forecourt in 2021, inspiring connection to the natural world and exploring wherries, walks and waterways.

I’ll also be looking at how walking in the area, finding hidden beauty and magic in the landscape, can be a source of rich inspiration.
