Natural Wonder in Summer Press / Magazines
You can read a lovely article about Natural Wonder in The Green Parent magazine this month (June’s issue) too! The piece focuses on the inspiration behind the collection and features a lovely photo of myself with my son, by Mary Doggett. You can order a copy of the magazine here.
And an article on how Natural Wonder supports both wellbeing and literacy (of special interest to English teachers) is in The English Association’s magazine ‘English 4-11 Summer 84’ issue this month, too. This is a magazine that showcases English studies in primary schools and early years settings. ‘Bringing Back Natural Wonder’ is on the front cover below. Find it here.
Summer Programme Bookings Are Live!
Our Summer programme for Natural Wonder went live for bookings last week and nearly half of all sessions fully booked already, with just a few spaces left. Families can book here.
This summer we are working with Natural Wonder poems including Sea Stars – on a special beach trip for National Marine Week with Norfolk Wildlife Trust; Comma – with the Big Butterfly Count; and re.Peat – on a Midsummer Night’s Dream session featuring Puck the fairy out on the meadow! We also will be enjoying Happiness Is Growing again growing herb gardens in Norwich.
Finally, our Easter sessions were a success with waiting lists for all sessions and a beautiful immersive performance of my poem Bats About Bats outside with Bluebell the fairy! Thanks to our fantastic team, to Norfolk County Council and the Department for Education.
