Our winter programme was a fantastic success thanks to the children who attended and our magical visitors – from a hula hooping fairy, to a Fairy Queen and owls with Hoot With Me CIC. We worked with poems The Owl Fairies of Holt, Wild Homes, Flight Song and the Wild and the Wise to explore biodiversity, habitats and learn how to care for biodiversity. We also heard brilliant talks from our young Natural Wonder Nature Guides who were supported in preparing talks that they shared to the younger children and the group on Cary’s Meadow – and were awarded certificates for helping to inspire care for biodiversity in the community. Congratulations to all for taking part.
